The challenge
What challenge or issue did you encounter that prompted you to seek assistance or support?
While we were familiar with Procore, we had never used the financials part of Procore and were unsure how to get this part of the system to talk to Quickbooks Online. We were also unfamiliar with Quickbooks but we knew it was a good tool – it just wasn’t specifically geared toward Construction Management like Procore. But we needed them to talk to each other. And in the same language.
The solution
How satisfied were you with the solution or resolution provided to address the challenge or issue you faced?
Smoothx provided the solution we needed. It took the information from Quickbooks and almost seemlessly pushed it over to Procore organizing it by project and cost code.
Smoothx really took the guess work and a lot of potential time out of ensuring the cost data was organized appropriately. I really don’t think we would we would make it without smoothlink – it has most definitely saved us a lot of time and resources making us more efficient and able to focus on building the business. With Smoothx, we don’t have to wonder if the cost reporting is accurate. It just works.
The results
What outcomes or results did you experience as a result of implementing the solution provided? Please share any improvements, changes, or impacts observed.
Smoothx has found a way to be the communication translator between QuickBooks and Procore. It simply takes the data entered in each system, and pushes it over to the other…instantaneously.
If there’s a mistake, it’s not due to Smoothx – it’s user error on the information side. But Smoothx helps you see the error, and when corrected, Smoothx reflects the change. It’s pretty great!
